Nettle and Rose Tea – Delicately Floral and Naturally Sweet

A little floral charm in every cup!

Our Nettle and Rose Tea is a beautifully fragrant herbal infusion, bringing together the gentle, earthy character of nettle with the delicate floral notes of rose.

With its juicy, naturally sweet flavour and lovely floral aroma, this Taste of the West Gold Award-winning tea offers something a little different from your everyday cuppa.

Naturally caffeine-free, it’s a wonderful choice whenever you fancy a moment to yourself, whether you’re enjoying a little sunshine in the garden or settling down indoors with a good book.

And here at Westcountry Tea Co, this particular blend has a rather loyal admirer!

One of Martyn’s Favourites – Even Two Hours Later!

We all have our favourite cuppa, and for Martyn, Nettle and Rose Tea is definitely one of them.

There’s just one small problem. He has a habit of making himself a mug, getting distracted by something or other, and returning to find it’s gone completely cold.

Does he make himself a fresh one? Not a chance! He still enjoys every last drop!

Clearly a tea that tastes just as lovely cold as it does hot – although we’re still working on getting Martyn to drink it before he forgets about it!

Two Ingredients, a Lovely Combination

Nettle and rose might not be the first ingredients you’d think of putting together, but they make rather lovely companions.

Nettle brings a gentle, green, earthy character that provides a lovely foundation for the blend.

Rose adds a delicate floral fragrance and a naturally sweet finish, creating an infusion that’s beautifully balanced without being overpowering.

Together, they produce a tea that’s pleasantly fragrant, with a distinctive flavour that makes it a little different from more traditional herbal blends.

It’s floral without being overly perfumed, and sweet without needing to reach for the sugar bowl.

A Fragrant and Flavourful Herbal Infusion

One of the nicest things about Nettle and Rose Tea is its inviting aroma.

As the ingredients infuse, their gentle fragrance begins to develop, giving you a little preview of the flavours to come.

The first sip offers a soft herbal character, followed by delicate floral notes and a pleasantly sweet finish.

Whether you enjoy it with breakfast, during an afternoon break or while watching the rain through the window, it brings a little floral charm to the occasion.

How to Brew Nettle and Rose Tea

Place one tea bag into your favourite mug and pour over freshly boiled water.

Allow the ingredients to infuse for approximately 3–5 minutes, or a little longer if you prefer a stronger flavour.

We recommend enjoying this blend without milk, allowing its natural herbal and floral notes to shine through.

There’s no need to add sugar unless you particularly fancy it, as the tea already has a lovely natural sweetness.

Then sit back and enjoy your cuppa.

And if you happen to forget about it for a while, well, Martyn would tell you that’s perfectly fine too!

Lovely Hot or Refreshingly Cold

Nettle and Rose Tea is a delight served freshly brewed and piping hot, but its delicate flavours also make it enjoyable cold.

For a refreshing alternative, prepare your tea as usual, allow it to cool and pour over ice.

You could even add a few fresh mint leaves or a slice of lemon for a little extra freshness.

It’s a versatile infusion to enjoy throughout the year, whether you’re after a comforting mug or something cool and refreshing.

Although we should probably point out that leaving your tea on the desk for two hours isn’t an essential part of the brewing instructions!

Naturally Caffeine-Free

Made with nettle and rose, this herbal infusion is naturally caffeine-free.

It’s a lovely alternative to traditional black or green tea, especially if you enjoy delicate herbal flavours and fragrant floral notes.

Whether you’re already a fan of herbal infusions or simply fancy exploring something new, Nettle and Rose Tea is a charming addition to the tea cupboard.
